It's my third time to visit the resort. Riding the 40 minute boat ride to Pearl Farm builds your excitement. As you see the resort getting closer, I just want to change clothes and jump in the water.

What a SPLASH!
I was really excited to visit Splash Island together with my cousins. We left early and we were among the first group to fall in line. When the gates finally opened, I was thrilled to see the giant slides which was at least 3 to 4 stories high.
We chose a place in front of the gigantic pool, which had a machine that made waves, just like in the beach. The waves were really strong.
The kid's pool was also fun because of the continuous shower. There were also kiddie slides but it weren't big enough for me to fit in.
Finally the gigantic slides. At first, I thought the force would make me turn over. Once you start sliding, you would really feel the thrill, with butterflies in your tummy. But once you reach the bottom, you would like to do it all over again. we tried at least 4 other gigantic slides. In the Magellan's drop, you had to lie on your belly, face forward. While in another slide, we- me, dad, and mom, rode an inflated vessel and dropped from the same height as the other slides. It was really fun, but since you had to climb 4 stories high repeatedly, I suffered muscle cramps in my legs that night. But, it was really a SPLASHING experience. - TODD

BAGUIO, then and now !?!
Aah, Baguio. Who wouldn't want to take his picture in the scenic Mines View. Every time we went to Baguio, it seems to be traditional to take pictures in Mines View, Mansion, and Burnham Park. It's the kids second time to visit the summer capital. With the global warming, yes, Baguio really is 'the option' to escape Manila's sweltering heat.
Well, the kids really enjoyed their stay. In this novelty picture, hehe, our apologies for borrowing the fixtures in the wall.
This is the Baguio I remember since I was a kid up to the time I was already in college. We, me & my college gang, used to go up to Baguio every summer during college. At that time, traffic and pollution were not yet an issue.
But now, sadly, the hills of Baguio are filled with roofs, and even being classified as one of the most polluted cities in the country. The price we have to pay for progress!
Maybe, we'll still go back to Baguio, unless there's another place that would help ease the Manila summer heat?!? Beach? NAH, sunburn is much worse.

Enchanting
Enchanted Kingdom is amazing, maybe the best so far I've been to! The rides are so cool, you don’t seem to want to leave the place. My favorite is the "Jungle Log Jam". It’s got a deep fall and at the bottom, SPLASH!!!- Somehow, you can’t escape being wet, but it's really fun! Another ride, that will surely make your tummy turn, the "Space Shuttle", a roller coaster ride with two 360 degree turns! To top it all, I was at the front seat. One ride was enough for me, though. Other enjoyable rides- "Anchors Away", Giant Ferris Wheel, "Rio Grande Rapids"- you’ll really get soakin’ wet., Bump Cars, Carousel, "Flying Fiesta", "Roller Skaters", etc.
Me and Todd in the Jungle Log Jam.
Me, Dad, Todd, and Kate at the Roller coaster.
Whew, flaming HOT!!!
Up above the world so HIGH!
I hope to visit the place again, coz it's truly ENCHANTING. - Nicole.

Puggley Wuggley
============================================================
<
Ever heard of that name before? Maybe you would ask how we got that name.Well, that name only came out when I expected to see a pug after Dad and Mom got home from Davao. But it was only when Mom and Lola came home from Manila that Puggley Wuggley became part of our family. Yes, Puggley from the breed pug. Puggley is extremely cute. I am very fond of her because she bumps on things everytime she is out of the cage. Sometimes I call her "Pukly" because that is how her name is pronounced in chinese, and I am very pleased to see her respond to that name. When she hears that name, she usually moves her head from side to side, which is actually kinda cute . When I prepare her food every night, the moment she hears the microwave she would cry, begging to feed her immediately. When being fed, she eats so fast, you could hear her slurp and snort. After that, I have to wipe her fur because the food is all over her. Then I accompany her to poop outside. Puggley Wuggley is now two months old. It's really fun to have a pug in the house especially if she plays a lot. Everybody loves her. And she loves everyone. - NICOLE

WHY BLOG ?
So, we've decided to blog. Why? Wala lang. After a hectic day from work and school, maybe it'll be fun sharing some thoughts and insights. About what? Anything, maybe. Yes, lest we forget, to post pictures, too. We'd also like to hear from you. So, share your thoughts, just don't be so violent, temper your words, and please, no profanities. We've got kids bloggin' as well as kids reading this stuff, too. Thanks for dropping by.
