Conquering Mt. Talomo

Mt. Talomo a.k.a. Mt. Kolelan is revered
as the guardian mountain of Mt. Apo.
Mt. Talomo is considerably high with an
elevation of 2,674+ meters above sea level

The assault starts with a nine- hour hike.

Sadly, trees were burned through kaingin.

The trail is very complicated,

where you have to walk and climb
through mossy fallen trees.

Rain stopped our hike,
so we had to camp, and make our
way to the summit the next day.

After almost three hours of hike,
we reached the summit.

After a brutal eleven- hour descent,
Mt. Talomo at the backdrop.

Oooh, how nice it is to do nothing, and rest afterwards.

Finally, another two hour hike back to town.
